My Approach
I work with couples through a systemic, relational lens, paying close attention to the patterns, histories, and dynamics that shape how we show up in our relationships.
I believe everyone is doing the best that they can and can do better. People make sense in context, and meaningful change happens when we understand not just what is happening, but why.
My approach focuses on understanding the patterns within your relationships and the experiences that have shaped them. Together, we explore these dynamics with curiosity and work toward meaningful change.
My Background
Hi, I’m Jordan.
I earned my B.A. in Linguistics and Psychology from Iowa State University and my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas.
I completed my clinical training at Irving Family Advocacy Center, where I provided trauma-informed counseling for adults, couples, and families navigating everything from everyday stress to more complex relational and trauma-related experiences.
Outside of therapy, you can find me poolside listening to a podcast, hosting a Survivor watch night, trying new restaurants or cooking with my husband, and deep-diving into my latest obsession on Reddit.
I’m married, have no kids 😊, and share my home with my cat, Mojo Jojo, and my dog, Steve. I’m also a recovering Type-A perfectionist, an oldest child, scorpio, and an INFJ (even though MBTI personality test is pseudoscience).
